Tel Aviv-based talent Shai T is a first time contributor to Silk Textures, though, we previewed his wonderful "Catalunia" already on our "Only Silk 03" compilation. We're excited to present a full-length version of this track (as the B-side), along with another deep gem, "10 After 10." The latter begins with an extended atmospheric intro, followed by buoyant, after-hours groove. Gorgeous, crystalline pads float throughout the soundscape, while the full-bodied bassline offers plenty of low-end punch. In the main break, the stunning pads evoke a cosmic odyssey. The deep-diving "Catalunia" rounds out this package. Once again, a gentle atmosphere is met by a steady groove. The subtle melodies and chilled, patient rhythmic progression are simultaneously hypnotic and deeply relaxing.
